I cannot believe it’s mid June already and how uplifting is all this wonderful sunshine - I do hope you’re enjoying days out and all your events I know you are so looking forward to!
Here at Elizabeth Rose we have been super busy, from exhibiting at the Wealden Fair to running the shop, which has been so exciting as so many of you are returning after Covid which now seems a lifetime away!
Like most businesses at the moment it has been extraordinarily difficult to recruit good staff with excellent sales skills that we always put at the top of our recruitment requirements! Jacki as most of you know retired in January and Alex Ferguson who was helping me with social media left after one year to pursue her dream working in London! Since then both Michael and I have found it extremely difficult to find the right staff who will fit into our established sales team with the high level of customer service you have come to expect and enjoy!
Now the buying season is upon us, as well as new stock arriving it is one of our most busiest times of the year. I rely very heavily on my staff while I am away from the shop in London buying and I am very conscious we do not, as yet, have a full compliment of staff so after much thought and consideration I have taken the decision to close the shop on Mondays with immediate effect.
This will allow the staff to take their day off and offer full capacity in the shop when we are open Tuesday until Saturday. Ensuring that the help, advice and service you deserve is not compromised in anyway.
Our website and online shop will be open 24/7, 7 days a week and myself, Michael and Rachel will be in the office on a Monday to answer any of your questions.
I can completely understand that this is not an ideal situation but it is only temporary just to cover the summer period.
On a positive note, we’ve had a really amazing season and we can’t believe how we’ve bounced back after Covid and I want to send you heartfelt thanks for your incredible support and loyalty.
So it’s full steam ahead to find 3 fabulous sales consultants and move on to a very exciting post Covid era!
