MOS MOSH is a fabulous new brand to us this Spring/Summer '23 season! They are a luxury brand that creates well-fitted garments, high-quality and designed with a twist. Each collection is unique and exclusive.
As well as seasonal fashion collections, we are thrilled to be expanding our amazing MOS MOSH jeans range with their designer denim. We have introduced a few CORE styles from skinny to straight fitting, a style to suit most.
They are known for their passion and not compromising. No brand is perfect but they are leading the way in sustainability and their care for the environment!
Starting with the sustainabilty MOS MOSH clothing stands for. The care they have taken within their fabrics is incredible! The starting point within the design process to becoming a more environmentally friendly fashion brand.
BCI– Better Cotton Initiative
❤ BCI aims to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and water
❤ BCI promotes collaboration towards more sustainability, working with partners, farmers, civil society organizations, and governments
❤ BCI aims to promote more responsible production methods by educating all those connected with growing cotton
❤ BCI cotton may be mixed with non-BCI cotton
❤ BCI cotton must be the primary fiber content
❤ BCI cotton must be the primary fiber content
ECOVERO™ – by LENZING™
❤ ECOVERO™ is an eco-responsible viscose fibre
❤ Wood; the raw material for the ECOVERO™ fibre comes from certified, controlled, and sustainably managed forests
❤ Water consumption is up to 50% lower when producing the fibre, compared to conventional viscose. In addition, ECOVERO™ cleans up the water before returning it to nature
❤ The CO2 emissions are up to 50% lower when producing ECOVERO™ compared to conventional viscose
❤ ECOVERO™ fibre is certified with EU-Ecolabel
❤ ECOVERO™ fibre is fully biodegradable under soil or water
❤ Garment must contain at least 30% ECOVERO™
❤ Fabric is quality tested and certified by LENZING™ before garment production
GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard
❤ GOTS is organic cotton, hemp, linen or wool, produced without GMOs, or harmful chemicals
❤ GOTS ensures that local legal norms for air emissions and waste water are followed
❤ GOTS influences the industry to innovate alternative non-hazardous and sustainable production techniques
❤ GOTS ensures safe and hygienic working conditions. Workers must receive a decent income, and discrimination must not be practiced
❤ GOTS garment must contain at least 70% organic materials
❤ GOTS works with two label grades, “Organic” and “Made with Organic”
❤ GOTS fibres may not be mixed with non-GOTS fibres
❤ Via “Chain of Custody,” GOTS ensures full traceability and organic status of textiles through all production stages
❤ Verification takes place via an independent 3rd party certification audit
OCS – Organic Content Standard
❤ OCS is organic fibres produced without the use of synthetic pesticides or harmful chemicals
❤ OCS works with 2 label grades “ORGANIC 100” and “ORGANIC Blended”
❤ “ORGANIC 100” garment must contain at least 95 % organic content. At “ORGANIC 100”, organic fibres may not be mixed with non-organic fibres of the same origin. The remaining fibre content may be any material
❤ “ORGANIC BLENDED” garment must contain between 5% to 94% organic content. At “ORGANIC BLENDED” organic fibres may be mixed with conventional fibers of the same origin
❤ Via “Chain of Custody,” OCS ensures full traceability of the organic status from farm to the final garment
❤ Verification takes place via an independent 3rd party certification audit
GRS – Global Recycle Standard
❤ The goal is to increase the use of recycled materials and drive innovation towards the use of recycled materials
❤ GRS aims to reduce the harmful impact from production to people and the environment. Workers employed in GRS production are protected by social policy
❤ The certified production must have an environmental management system towards chemicals, energy, and water usage as well as air emissions and waste
❤ The garment must contain at least 50% recycled material in order to be marked with GRS hangtag
❤ Via “Chain of Custody,” GRS ensures full traceability of recycled materials through all production stages, from collecting to garment production and brand
❤ Verification takes place via an independent 3rd party certification audit
