With his daughter studying in France, Michael had the ideal opportunity to visit the vibrant city of Toulouse.
While exploring the streets with their eclectic mix of cafes, restaurants and of course shops, Michael was reminded of the French sense of style and the important role that French fashions brands have played here at Elizabeth Rose over the years. On her recent buying trips Helen has been investigating what the French fashion brands have to offer and we feel there is a resurgence towards the clothes of our chic European neighbour.
It is a little known fact that ‘American Vintage’ is actually a French fashion label, first introduced at Elizabeth Rose in 2020, we are delighted to stock this brand. It is a contemporary brand with a dedication to simplicity, from core staple items such as t-shirts and knitwear, with a modern twist, there is something for everyone in their range.
‘Estheme Cashmere’ is a French label that we have also been carrying for a while, their mission is to combine luxurious cashmere with a range of products that are both chic and trendy. A fantastic brand that we are fortunate to have here at Elizabeth Rose.
New to Elizabeth Rose this season is French fashion label ‘Hartford’ and we are excited to be stocking this range for the first time. The philosophy of ‘Hartford’ is for high end casual clothing with a vintage but modern style. We love their beautiful and wearable shirts and blouses!
‘Saint James’ were established in the heart of Normandy and place nautical traditions at the heart of their designs. High quality fabrics featuring nautical stripes in their t-shirts and jumpers, amongst other designs, are their trademarks. Wearable and comfortable, their garments are easy to wear and stylish.
The resurgence of French chic looks set to continue and next season we will be introducing further new brands such as Derhy, Suncoo and cashmere house Notshy. Exciting times ahead, keep checking our website for further new arrivals here
