Established in 1979 Elizabeth Rose remains in the family and continues to uphold the values which the business was built upon. Michael Busby and Helen Pritchard are the brother and sister team behind Elizabeth Rose today. They put a personal stamp on everything they do. This ensures that quality and customer satisfaction are a top priority and they strive to make each visit to Elizabeth Rose a memorable one.

| Our Approach
We aim is to run our shop professionally, look after our staff, value our customers and provide an excellent service. To achieve this we concentrate on the following:

| 1. Buying - A great deal of emphasis is placed on buying the right product for the right time. We have a clear strategy - choose clothes that offer our customers key fashion looks, good quality, great fit, strong colour choices, individual styles and value for money.
2. Staff Training - Staff training is essential to support our team. We have a full training programme for new staff and ongoing training with existing staff.
3. Visual Merchandising - Our dedicated merchandiser works with the shop manager and directors making sure that the stock is seen at its best. Our online product selection is managed week-by-week, ensuring our products are shown to best effect along with all the relevant information.

4. Customer Service - We always endeavor to provide excellent customer service. Customers are encouraged to ring for an appointment to view new collections and can enjoy a one-to-one shopping experience with a member of staff. We are available by telephone Monday to Saturday between 9.30am and 5.30pm to help with any online queries.
5. Promotions - With a mailing list of over 10,000 customers we contact our customers regularly. We produce seasonal catalogues, send event and promotion material by post, regularly update our website and email our customers with fashion updates and news.

A brief look at our history
Elizabeth Rose was started over 30 years ago by Rosemarie Busby when the first shop opened its doors in 1979. In the beginning it was a just small shop at the far end of the high street in Tenterden. In 1981 Rosemarie opened a second shop across the road selling lingerie, swimwear and a small amount of casual wear. The little shop, as it become fondly known, was simply gorgeous and was just like stepping into your own bedroom. In 1985 Elizabeth Rose re-located into its current building, originally a tollgate house, built in the eighteenth century – beautiful clothing and accessories all under one roof! In 1994, keeping the business in the family, brother and sister team Michael Busby and Helen Pritchard took the helm and are today keeping the passion alive for good quality, comfortable and stylish women’s clothes at Elizabeth Rose.
